By car from Copenhagen over the Øresund Bridge to Ystad, then on by ferry to Rønne.

The first stop is Hammershus Castle, where we walk around the ruins. Then Helligdomsklipperne and the view over the cliffs. In Gudhjem we have herring for lunch, and in Svaneke we buy smoked herring and mackerel at the local smokehouse. After that a walk on the beach near Bakkerne Havn and finally Nylars Kirke, one of the island's round churches.
